After applying more force I was able to insert my tool completely through from the back.

Thanks for the info! I was wondering the same thing with my sensors ... didn't want to have to splice to those pigtails.

Why bother with taking apart the originals when new kits are so cheap ($5.49)? Not only that, this particular one loads the pins from the rear like we're used to.

Since the sensors are low current and/or small voltages wouldn't gold plated terminals be better?
