QB Fuse kit with non-QB wings

Have a preowned, unbuilt wing kit and am thinking ahead to Fuse kits. I understand that in prior models your center spar/bulkhead had to match the wing spars. Is this still the case for the RV-9a?

In other words, can I just order a QB Fuse from Van's and the spars I have will fit the center spar/bulkhead it comes with?

Yes..... but do confirm when you order from Van's.

If I recall correctly, kits haven't been match drilled since 2008. So depends on the year of your wing kit. But verify with Van's of course.

I scratch built my wings, but ordered a quick build fuselage. Had to send my center section kit back to Vans. Not due to match drill, but they just wanted it back since they used one in my Quick Build. I now have a nice set of unused longerons.
