Nose wheel breakout?

My aging memory says that I read something about a change in the nosewheel breakout force. Just downloaded the new Maintenance Manual chapters and don't find anything there. Wishful thinking or aging memory??

Wayne, I think it is down to 19 lbs. I am using that figure and like it.

Where did you download a maintenance manual? I didn't build my plane and couldn't find it on Van's site.

Here's the link, but the maintenance manual is only applicable to the RV-12 ELSA: http://vansaircraft.com/pdf/revisions/RV-12/User_Manuals/MM.pdf
I think from your profile that you have a RV-8?
