It started....
Please save electrons by not saying it has no wings on, that is as old as primer wars. It was a short, idle run to check systems at home and we are very pleased indeed. Once again, just super impressed with what Vans produces and we assemble.

Congrats Mike! I did my first hour of engine testing without wings installed (since we don't have wing tanks, that really helps!) However, I didn't have a beautiful backdrop like you, just my driveway. Looks like a gorgeous day in sunny Northern England Cheers, Paul

What a great sound! Congratulations! I actually tried taxi testing mine without the wings. That was a mistake because without that mass to either side, it was REAL squirrely on the runway. I aborted that run in a hurry.

If nothing else, you were able to blow a considerable amount of dust off the canopy. :-)

Nothing like doing engine checks in the garden.
I love it!

You are going to miss having a plane sitting on your backyard lawn.
You got to love the 0.2s dust removal off the canopy, I guess that what Dyson is dreaming of.
Cheers
Mike
