Yeah, I used an electronic level per the directions and as discussed elsewhere. Still a pain - they seem to move a tenth or two as you tighten them.

I haven't adjusted the k-factor beyond what the previous owner did. I think both my k-factor is wrong, and it's spiking.

I snug the bolts down until I have to thump the blade with the heel of my hand to get it to move. It stays put while the bolts are tightened. The trade-off is that the blade likes to stick, then move half a degree at a time. It makes for some frustration getting the pitch set. I need to make a long adjusting arm as someone described in another post, to do it more "delicately".
