Cool Polish Prop

Having hard time keeping paint on prop any thoughts on polishing prop.Talked to Hartzell rep at OSH he thought it would be fine. Hope to hear from those that have been flying polished prop.

A lot of people do it. I'm really surprised that Hartzell OKed it. Typically prop manufacturers are against it because of corrosion potential.

If you do polish, keep up with polishing

Stripped and polished my last prop on the Rocket after seeing my neighbors chrome like example. Current prop is stripped and working toward final polish. Advice: DO NOT use any form of abrasive to get the paint off. You will forever be chasing sand scratches as the shine improves.
