Sikaflex and F-705G interference for Tip-Up

Planning to sikaflex my rear canopy to the roll bar while the "flap ears" of the rear upper skin are not riveted. Then, I will rivet the ears when done. Which means, the roll bar will be on permanently and will not be able to be removed....which van's states should be done to rivet the side skins before riveting the F-705G. So....I'm contemplating using blind rivets. Anyone know a good source for these #3 blind rivets?.....Or do most people recommend relieving the F-705G enough to buck. Seems to me I would have to remove more material to buck. This particular angle appears to be structurally important if the airplane ever flips over.

Thanks

Cherry Max

Ellis,

Fairly certain you can install Cherry Max rivets there. Van's can tell you size.

Any particular reason not to rivet the skins down before bonding? Seem out of order to me.
