Difficulty viewing my track

Recently I have had a hard time getting my track to appear on APRS.fi . If I open the site and search my call sign, or click on my link, I can find the data, but the track will not appear on the map. Then after clicking several buttons it sometimes appears. I can not figure out what has changed or what I do to get it up. Any suggestions?

Do you set the "Show last" and "Track tail length" to longer values?

If you set those to more like 12 hours, you will see some values (timerange=xxxx&tail=xxxxx) added to the URL in your browser. Bookmark that URL, then use the bookmark so you won't have to always reset the values.

Yes. I set those to 7 days, and still no good. Something has changed, because it has worked fine for the past couple of years. Yesterday I cleared my browser history and went back in and the track showed up as normal. When I went back again they were gone again. - I centers on the location of the plane, but will not show me the track. It must be a setting on my computer.

Not the exact answer you are looking for on that specific site...

...but http://www.airprs.com/#/tab/logbook/call/N153MC shows your tracks back to Aug of '15 w/one click.

If you're just looking for your tracks.

How do I sign up for AIRPRS site

[ed. Hi Roger,
If you have a ham license and an APRS tracker, your data is already online. Just put in your N number at the end of that link in place of the one shown in the example. If you don?t have a ham/aprs, go to the bottom of http://www.vansairforce.net/APRS.htm to get you started.
