wire for Magnetometer

I decided to get a second EFIS/EIS for my project and purchased a GRT Mini-GA with magnetometer.

The magnetometer will ride in the way back with the Dynon ADAHRS unit and requires 4 wires. 2 power and two signal.

Can I use a single wire with 4 conductors? Does the wire need to be shielded?

M gut feeling is no shielding, and 4 wires enclosed in a plastic sheath is fine...that's how the magnetometer on my Sport SX is set up.

But I'd call GRT just to be sure. Their customer service is excellent.
