Another two hundred flying hours and I'll have my call (K7JD) on a map of the U.S. (albeit looking like a captcha). It took extra effort to make the serifs on the bottom legs of the "K".

Clever!

We've tried "aprs writing" on much shorter flights but your path has us beat on sheer scale. :)

You can put posts in the "Test/Misc" forum if you don't want them archived, they get deleted after a couple of weeks.
 
I think you will have to fly a compensated "great circle" route to straighten out those lines on this map projection....but you definitely get points for scale!

Sam and Allen, thank you but you're giving me too much credit. My results were purely serendipitous. But I wanted everyone to have access to that interesting URL I stumbled upon.
