Made my first flight a few days ago, absolutely love it!

Welcome to the joy a RV-4 can bring.

Good looking plane.

Default Retractable 4

Not my plane, but in a hangar across from mine. Nice new paint job and flying again!

I'm sure you must be able to stuff something more on to that panel - you aren't trying hard enough!!!!

BTW I really like the classy simplicity of the paint scheme. Many times paint schemes obscure or interfere with the lines of the airplane. This is just right. I might do something similar.

Just came across this Vans Airbus!:-) Better set up than most modern Airliners:-) Personally I like too look out the window when I fly, but with all that eye candy to watch the world would slip by & you wouldn't know it, nice machine too

Thanks! One of the previous owners is an airline pilot, and he's the one that upgraded the panel from the original steam setup. Took awhile to figure out how it all works together, but now I REALLY like it. Nearly everything for navigation is redundant (some times twice / three times over!) and you can mix and match sources / systems via the panel.

As for the rest of her, the builder did some amazing work. I'm just crossing over 100 hours I've flown in her, and I couldn't be happier. Just finished a lot of training in a 172, and I smile every time I jump back into the 4
