Default canopy problem

Has anyone experienced a failure of the C-661 guide block on the rear canopy rail. I got back from flying yesterday and had a hard time opening the canopy because the guide block was dragging along the fusalage . What a mess. Any suggestions. I ordered a new guide block to fit. I have no idea how that happened.

Default canopy problem

Installed new unit. Milled .025 off the bottom of new piece to keep it from rubbing on the fuselage on each side of the canopy rail. Works great, Dan
