Here at Osh with both fuel caps gone. Didn't realize it until I landed at Fon du lac. Got distracted at the last fuel stop. I put a rag in each filler hole but am debating whether to have new caps overnighted from Vans or get something here at the show. Don't want anything getting in the tanks.

Aircraft Spruce will probably have them at Oshkosh. Go to a hardware store or Lowes etc and get some good quality wide tape. Tape over the fillers in several crossing layers. First choice is Scotch plastic tape, second is packaging tape or duct tape. Or you can use a piece of clear plastic sheet and tape it around the edges.

Randy, sorry to hear, but when you can, let us know what you think happened, for the educational component.
did you lose half your fuel by siphoning?...or were the caps possibly just loose, and got 'sucked' out somewhere enroute?
curious minds need to know!??!
hope you find some caps, lots of fellows carry an extra one!
