Default RV9 magnetometer in wing

I am planning to mount the Garmin G11 magnetometer in the wing tip or last bay of the wing. What angle relative to the chord do i need to mount it to stay within the +/- 3 degress for high altitude cruise?

Default Wait to mount it

I waited until the wing was temporarily pined to the fuse
and leveled off the longeron.
