Dynon HDX rpm band

Does anyone know if the yellow section in the RPM band on the HDX can be removed? It is a small band I assume that it is for some set ups with a RPM restriction on the engine prop combo. Just curious if it can be reprogrammed? Thanks Joe

HDX is customizable

Yes, all the colored bands on the engine transducers and other meters are user controlled on HDX. I adjusted mine about a month ago. You can change the numbers where colors begin and end. You can add a 4th color. You can delete colors. I'm not at the HDX right now, but just go into setup and poke around. You'll find it.

The settings for the HDX are the same as for the touch.
