nav lt shield question

I ran shielded wire to my tips and tail for the nav lights. I ran the main wire from my VP-x back to a junction where they split to the wing tips and tail. My question is: What do I do with the shields where I join the wires at the junction? Should I daisy chain them together? I've solder spliced the shield at my vp-x to my main ground.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I am going in the wrong direction, but my plan ( when I do the same thing) is to carry the shield ground all the way back to the main ground at the firewall. The intent is to try to minimize/eliminate ground loops. I would gang them together and ground all at the same point.
