Default Squadron Pro LED Landing Light Mounting Brackets

[29.5 pairs claimed; currently half-a-pair remaining (1 single individual bracket for $25)..that's all, sorry!]

**update: brackets in hand! Shipping this weekend**

We upgraded our RV-6 and -8 to Squadron Pro LED lights, and love them!

I had some brackets made at a local sheet metal shop, and a few other RV'ers saw them and wanted a pair. While I was at it I had 10 extra pairs made to pass along at-cost to the Vans community here. Since those are gone, by popular demand I had another 30 pairs produced.

This time the brackets have 8-32 threaded inserts already installed (no need to rivet your own nutplates). So should be a quick bolt-on effort to upgrade to LED lights.

For ease of managing this on my side, I'll request PayPal only please. And include your shipping address in the PayPal notes! Shipping to USA included.

Send $50 per pair (or $25 for a single bracket) to:

update: only one single bracket left! only send $25 max

(Sorry for the price increase; previously I asked for $40 but the threaded inserts added a bit, and it turns out envelopes and paypal fees add up ).

I'll ship them out as orders come in, once I receive the batch from the metal shop (probably 1-2 weeks). And I'll update this thread as the quantities start to run low.

Pictures and details below.

Cheers,
James.

New brackets with 8-32 inserts already installed:

Squadron Pro Flush-Mount Lights. (we used the "spot" lenses for landing, and the half spot/half diffuse for taxi. But honestly they throw so much light it's hard to really notice a difference -- aiming angle seems to be more of a factor than the lens)

If you buy these lights online, Google around for a baja designs discount code; Seems they commonly have a 10 or 15% discount available.

after replacing just one side:

Default Squadron Pro

Are the any suggestions of where to best to purchase the lights? I did a search and found them more expensive than I recalled. Now that I have the brackets ordered, I need to think about getting the lights, I guess.

Thanks.

Default 9 pairs left

Hi All,
Happy New Year!

Just an update that there are 9 pairs left (21 claimed so far). I'll keep the total updated in the first post. And I'll post an update when the metal shop is finished and they start shipping out.

Also several people have PM'd me about where to order the landing lights. I bought mine straight from www.bajadesigns.com

They often have discount codes running... not sure if these are active still but give them a try when you checkout:

BDForums
BD15off
BD10off

Cheers, and hope these brackets help you with an easier LED upgrade!

James.
