As Norm Abrams always said, "there's no more import safety tip than to wear safety glasses".
If you don't have safety glasses in your shop, they are very affordable - especially when you buy the 5, 10, or 20 pack.
What would you do with extra safety glasses? How about some very comfortable DIY view limiting devices. Even if you are not instrument training, it's always good to refresh those "hood skills".
