38-04 rear window

Rear window evenly drilled and tapped. Looking at the fit of the F-01474 stiffener angles and the window extends to the level of the second hole down. The rear flange of the stiffener interferes with the window. Am I better to carefully reduce window width or trim the stiffener to fit? I'm inclined to trim the window.

All is trimmed, holes drilled and countersunk.
What is best practice for the inside-window side of the hole. A few turns with the deburr countersink? Or overthinking it.

I also found a new way to burn my finger today. When countersinking the outside of the window holes the pilot on the countersink gets pretty hot.....
