I believe most photocopiers do not reproduce exactly 1:1 - hence the disclaimer regarding dimensions. I used the template for shape but made my bends based on dimensions. However, I also found that when fitted, the actiual dimensions were too long, and I had to make a V bend in the float arm to shorten it and prevent interference with the adjacent rib.
