RV6a windscreen

Hi Folks,

Can anyone tell me this is even possible before I order a new front windscreen for my slider. I hit a bird a few days ago and it came through, left a hole the size of a football. Will it be possible to fit a RV9a windscreen to my 6a?

The canopies are the same, or supposed to be. Im sure there have been minor tweaks over the years

I have an extra wind screen for a -7 if you need one. I?m sure that would fit your -6 as well.

Yes, but the process required will depend on the vintage of the kit......

When the sliding canopy was first introduced for the RV-6A there was an optional windshield available that had a more shallow slope than the fwd portion of the full molded canopy did.
The later version of the full canopy had a wind screen portion shape that more closely mimicked the optional wind screen shape but I think it still differed slightly.

Currently the same canopy is shipped for an RV-6, 7, or 9 finish kit.
