I have an MGL Odyssey in my Rv8 and the capacitance plates from Vans. I understand Vans no longer offers this option. I use Dynon capacitance senders and the combination works well. But I don't think Dynon offers the senders anymore either. So this may no longer be an option. My experience is that they are more accurate over a broader range than float senders. But I still look in the tanks before every flight and trust the fuel totalizer as a more accurate measure of fuel remaining
Does any know why they are not offered any more?
I installed them in my 2007 RV7A (over 850 hrs now) and love them, haven't had any problems with them and they work throughout the whole range.
