Paint Scheme Help (what company)

I am working with Jonathan too and he has been great. I would recommend him without hesitation.

If you want to try something really different, talk to a local high school art class teacher. Promise a pizza party and small cash prize and let the students come up with ideas. Give them the plane drawing and let them go. One guy posted here about doing it and he got some interesting designs. Just an idea.

Designers

Scheme Designers did a great job for me, and charged less than $1000. The detailed instructions for painter were excellent. I think scheme complexity has a lot to do with price.

I don't think you can go wrong with either one... I have not used Jonathan but have used Scheme designers for 2 planes and have been very happy with the results.

Scheme Designers? They want $1400, how did you get a deal?

Ray from http://www.designeye-q.com/ did my scheme, and he was great to work with! I couldn't be happier with the results. Lots of 3d renderings of the options and tweaks as the design progressed.

I don't know what he charges, as my paintshop (www.midwestaircraftrefinishing.com) provided his services with the price of the paint job (which was also FANTASTIC!)

How much did Design Eye Q charge? Do they also provide dimensions of the layout?

I met Jonathan at SnF. Great guy. He's more than willing to work with you to come up with the perfect paint scheme for your aircraft. We went thru dozens of different designs before we came up with the final design. I think he works for $0.10/hour... ;) I highly recommend him.

I hope this helps.
