While it is nice to hear an update there are few details provided. Even a rough estimate would be nice. Some news is good though for those of us waiting to start the tail first.

RV-14 Kit Updates
We’d like to thank you for your patience as we work through the details and logistics on
the RV-14. We’ve set some high standards for ourselves with the RV-14 and it has
taken longer than we’d have liked to finalize the details. We understand that this has
resulted in some of our customers waiting and wondering. Please rest assured that we
are working hard every day to finalize the kit and will release each sub-kit just as soon
as all the details for each are in place. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to provide accurate
availability dates for the various sub-kits because of the myriad of variables involved.
Wing Kit…Currently Available
Empennage / Tailcone Kit …Update, 5/16/13
RV-14 Empennage/tailcone kits are under active development. Engineering, drafting,
purchasing and packaging efforts are progressing every day. Our goal is to have a
complete, fully proven and accurately documented kit that builders can assemble with
confidence and speed. We are doing everything possible to expedite the process but,
at the same time, we want to be certain that when we do deliver your kit, it's the very
best kit available. Thanks again for your patience!
