Default Colorado fall flight

It finally cooled down some, so we took the 6A up into the high country to see if we could find any color. Launched out of KFLY, and headed south, past Spanish Peaks, and up over Mosca Pass. You can see the sand dunes in the distance.

Mount Lindsey, Little Bear and Blanca are to the left.

Crestone and Crestone Needle look as imposing as always.

The entrance to Marshall Pass was still in color.

We cut back over by Salida.

Past Pikes Peak;

and the Academy.

Finally back home to KFLY. A couple of hours well spent.

Cheers

Geoff

Had to fiddle about some. I use google photos, and it seems to have changed from what I used to do.

Thanks for letting me know.

Not sure these photos will show up. I was not flying (still building), but we were in the Salida area a few weeks ago. Colors were spectacular. Plus we climbed the Great Sand dunes you shot from the air. Just wanted to compliment your photos with some from the ground.
