Has Anyone Encounter This Problem?
Last month my wife and I were flying and she commented that at times
she could hardly hear me. We landed shortly after and I forgot it.
Last week a friend and I were bringing my plane home from the paint shop
and he was flying, a two hour flight. Everytime he hit the transmit switch on the stick,
the volume in my headset (passenger side) went to barely over a whisper.
But intercom operation had no problem.
Equipment is: 2 Bose A20 headsets. Pilot side has mic mounted on the
left ear and passenger mounted on the right ear, so wires out of way.
Plug ins are in each corner just below panel.
Garmin GMA 240 Audio Panel, Garmin 650 used as primary comm and a
Garmin GRT200 as secondary comm. I don't remember us using the 200
to talk to center, just the 650.
I am wondering if I changed something and don't know it or either the audio
or 650. If anyone has encountered this sure would appreciate some guidance.
