Finally - look which FAA form is now on-line

The FAA finally got into the 20th century with a new on-line, fill it out yourself, PDF version of the one form they demanded actual carbon copies.

No more hunting for original forms and old fashioned typewriters, or worrying about how good your printing is.

PS try asking anyone under the age of 25 what a "carbon copy" means...

Finally!

After the FAA implemented the recreational on-line drone registration in December, they followed that up on 1 April with Commercial registrations on-line. Previously we'd have to register using the old 850-1 forms, which get to be interesting when you have multiples to register. I was actually surprised that were able to move that fast with that system and I'm glad that there's finally some movement out of the dark ages!

on the form, why dose it read A rcraft and not Aircraft Manufacture?
