ameri-king remote elt switch

I have an Ameri-King remote ELT switch that doesn't work (P/N 450004). The ELT is a 121.9, not the 406 unit. The battery that was in it before was DL1/3N which is 3V. I replaced it and pushed the ON button but the light doesn't turn ON nor do I hear the ELT going off. I tested the ELT unit a year ago by manually flipping the switch and it worked. Even if the unit didn't work wouldn't the led light up on the remote switch?

I tried googling the part number without much luck. A/C Spruce has a remote switch that looks the same but the P/N is E-01/E-04. Does anyone know if this will work with my unit?
