RV7 Leg fairings and intersection fairing to James wheel pants

Has anyone ?hacked? Fairings-Etc. (or any other vendor) lower intersection fairings to fit Sam James RV7 wheel pants? All fairings Vendors understandably fit their lower fairings to Van?s Pressure pants.
 
Yes, I originally bought Van's fairings. Hoping for a better fit I bought the Fairings etc. After looking at both of them I decided to use Van's mainly because the Fairings etc seemed to be coated with some kind of primer or something that I could not identify. I guess I could have called them but I could tell Van's was just fiberglass.

I got a set of RVBits intersection fairings and tried them on my SJ wheel pants and it was easier (a relative term) to just make them in place. Hours of sanding.
