Having a problem with the fit of the L and R F1281.
This is my second RV-12, and the fit of all the parts is typically great!

The F1281L is "under bent" and the 1281R is a bit "over bent".

To try to explain in words:
Left side - the skin has to be significantly forced to fit the frame and matchup with the 1283 skin, and the resistance (on the clecos) is significant.
Right side - The 1281 skin wraps around the frame and is easily attached to the 1282 skin, but the 1281-R is gap'd from the frame by about 1/4" (or a bit more)

The "J" stringer holes have been trimmed a bit, that doesn't appear to be contributing to the problem.

Thx much

I had a similar problem with the J-stringers touching the J-stringer holes, even with a Cleco in every rivet hole. I decided to go ahead with riveting, and when I was finished, everything lined up perfectly. No adjustments were necessary. Hopefully, you'll have the same result.

The fit of mine was similar. I re-clecoed from the middle out and it helped a little.
