I have reviewed the SLICK sticky, learned lots, but nothing about my issue. An example of the issue is, first mag check of the day all is good, second likely same, third for the day not so much, 150-200 drop on left impulse coupled mag. The drop is not correct, but the engine runs as if someone pulled a spark lead or two off...horrible roughness. I can leave it at mag check RPM and no change, regardless how long I wait, increasing RPM only increases the shaking and roughness. I go back to both and move up to cruise RPM and it clears. I can then do a normal mag check and all is good, 50-80 rpm drop, nearly same left to right. I went nearly two weeks and no flights and pulled all the plugs, thinking maybe oil, all were clean and grayish brown, dry. Not finding a pattern, has happened first mag check of the day, or the fourth, sometime multiple times in a day, sometimes like yesterday, 4 checks over 7 hours, one issue. Issue has been going on for 6 months. Mags are 355 hours since new, along with M2989LH M2990RH harness and all new UREM40E plugs gapped .018. I also have SLICK START. O320/160/FP
