Painting Powder Coated Parts?

I want to paint my roll bar before I bolt it down to the rails. I've never painted over a powder coated part before and would appreciate any advice on preperation, type of paint etc. Thanks

Be sure to first kill the shine completely with a Scotchbrite pad, and then using an epoxy primer (e.g. DP-40) under the color coat of paint will give you good long-term service.

Thanks Vern, I'm using DP-40-LF anyway. I've chosen the same engine you have, (TMX IO-360) still not decided on the e-mags but I'm watching them closely. Why did you decide to go 2 P's?
