So is your back up for a screen failure an independent autopilot?
Good lord....is that a placard that tells you what the buttons on the grip do?

Nice job there. Just curious, where did you get the curved stick??.
Great, many thanks!I adapted the RV14 stick from Tosten. It took some rework of the seat ramp. I had already cut out the panel as one of my tall guy mods.
I'm a little curious. Do you guys putting radios on the bottom of the panel have any problems with them clearing the cross-member thats just a few inches behind the panel?
I had forgotten about this thread. I never posted a pic of the panel after the ICP was constructed. This pic was from Oshkosh several years ago. It was always funny to watch former Viper drivers and see their reactions.
I always flew with the replica HUD in place, and never found it distracting. Sure wish it has been functional.

I believe the F-16 stuff was removed by the buyer soon after the sale.

Garmin took me for a coupled ILS, procedure turn, then flew the missed approach today. Great kit!
For pilots flying in a lot of uncontrolled airspace managing the transition from one frequency area to another is a lot better with the ability to monitor two frequencies.
That's one of the reasons right there. All modern digital comms can monitor two frequencies. So today one com is almost like having two. My current crystal clear favorites are the GTR 200 and Trig TY 91.
