Default RV8 planning stages

Just starting the planning stages of building a RV8. Have the tool kit and plans ordered, and planning on ordering the empennage kit in the next few weeks. Is there anyone in the DFW area, preferably T67 or 52F, that is in this same process? Or already has one built I could check out and get some pointers from? Open to any and all advice.

Default Welcome to the madness, Mike

I like your choice in airplanes... and Mike S is right, Jay Pratt is a wealth of information and he is right in your neighborhood - and a great guy. If you are in the mood to travel a little farther East, I would be happy to show you an example of how one builds an 8 in a two car garage. I have asked plenty of questions of others and would be happy to pass along any info I can. I am currently working on the interior of the fuse so I can show you the fuse, wings and empennage. I am just north of the DFW airport.
