Default Request to Borrow: RV-4 Front Seat Thin Cushions

Hi everyone, I'm ferrying an RV-4 from the east coast to Arizona next week. The currently installed custom front seat cushions are too thick for my tall body. Does anybody have a set of thin front seat cushions I could borrow for the flight? Of course, I will be glad to pay for shipping. Thanks very much!

Not sure what "thin" or "thick" -4 seat cushions are, but I have a set of Oregon Aero you could borrow.

when I did that (same reason) I bought one of those gardening pads (that you kneel on) from the home depot aviation department. That worked for me.

Default Seat pan

Gash,
Depending on how this 4 was built you may be able to take out the seat pan.
Per plans there is an alum. seat ramp. On mine it was screwed it and easy to remove. I also have a new bottom cushion I am working on that is pretty thin. that you might be able to use.

Hi Karl,
Stop by my hangar 11-12. We have a couple of old sets of rv-4 seats that might work.

Thanks everyone for the responses. Tom, I will swing by your hangar. Are you around tomorrow anytime? I'm going to be showing the Bearhawk to a couple guys, so will be airport bumming most of the day. Thank you!
