Forgive me for asking RV4 builders for help yet again, but once more I have a query. I am installing the control column under the seat and the 'ears' for the aileron push rods have ended up about 3/8" too far aft. You can see a better description here
I would be interested to know:
a) is this a common problem?
b) what approach have people used to solve it?
c) assuming the answer results in moving the stick forward does this present any issues?
Thanks!
PS It has occured to me that perhaps they are not meant to be centrally located and the aileron pushrods sweep forward? If so they are going to be tight against the passenger footwells.
