Heat Muff for M1B Engine Ideas

Are there any alternative ideas for putting a heat muff on the IO-360-M1B engine with Horizontal Induction from Van's?

I installed the exhaust this weekend and the heat muff is suppose to go on cylinder #1, but I already put the inlet hole in the back of the baffles (per drawings/plans) in anticipation of putting the muff on pipe from cylinder #3. Inlet on firewall is Van's standard location.

The exhaust suspension brackets go on the two tail pipes so standard muff that came with the Vetterman's system won't fit there.

Are there any ideas folks have implemented that worked well?

thanks

I also put the inlet hole at the back of the baffles for #3 "per plans" but "in error". So I made a cover plate for it in case I might need it in the future and made a new hole up front for #1.
