CS Prop Dealer

I am idly thinking about converting to CS from my FP prop this winter. I used my "one prop per builder number" from Vans a long time ago (a long story) and sold that prop so I can't go back and buy another from Vans. I am considering Whirlwind, but I'd like to put Hartzell in the mix as well. Does anyone have a recommendation for a dealer with decent pricing and service?

Send me an email.

Mark, does this mean your Sensenich GA is going on the auction block?

Not yet...I love that prop but I want to dabble in some gentlemans aerobatics (with appropriate training of course) and I'd like to have the additional control that a CS gives me

I found Aircraft Specialists at Jeffersonville, IN (KJVY - Louisville area) to have a good price and they said they could get me a blended airfoil Hartzell in 3 weeks for $9300. Van?s price on the non-OEM Hartzell, after you burn your first one, was $12,300 for the same thing. The $8400 OEM Hartzell is too good to pass up, but as you said, you only get that price once. I ended up ordering a 200RV from Whirlwind on June 8th. I?m still waiting, so you better have patience if you order a Whirlwind.

My used rv6 i just bought has the whirlwind 200rv, its my first cs prop but it is an awesome prop

WW Prop Delivery

Just as another data point, I ordered a new WW 200RV prop on May 18 and still waiting for delivery. After talking with WW, I doubt that the prop will ship anytime soon.

Yeah, I'm not real crazy about companies who can't manage their production schedule. My hangar mate, Clam has a WW and it's a great prop, but if I move forward with this, there has to be a predictable schedule. WW probably won't make that cut

I got my rebuilt CS short B hub/new blades zero time out of Western Prop in Oregon, $4500.....Arrow 7666-2 blades...I didnt ask for blended.......
