The fiberglass scoops in the rear of my -10 were mounted with an adhesive and one started coming loose. Since the plane is painted I'd rather try the adhesive approach as opposed to rivets. Is West 105 adequate or is there something better?

Polyurethane

So the 3M stuff is a polyurethane. Is that the same for the goop/E6000? I see that the 3M stuff comes in a Fast Cure too.

BTW, this is FG to metal.

ProSeal over 20-years ago. After more than 3,300 hours of flying they are still perfect.

JB Weld works great also. Scuff both mating surfaces for a better mechanical grip.
It held naca vents on my RV6 for 900 hrs until I sold it and nary a crack.

3M 4200 if you think you might need to remove them in the future, 5200 will make them permanent.

I rolled the dice, went to West Marine and bought the 3M 5200 fast cure. In my opinion it doesn't live up to its name (fast cure) but it's some sticky stuff! Test flight today and it looks like a good choice. Thanks Tom!
