Prime exterior of fuel tanks?

So i've completed my fuel tanks, leak tested them, wired and ready to install on the wing. In review of a few other build websites, it looks like nobody primes the exterior parts of the fuel tanks (back of the baffle, mating surfaces where the tanks mate to the wing) Obviously most folks prime the z-brackets.

Any thoughts? Has anyone primed these mating surfaces, or have you left it bare aluminum.

I dipped mine in alodine pre-assembly, so everything got coated. I didn't prime anything except the Z-brackets until it went to paint when the outside got primed.
