RV-14 Engine question

I know in stock configuration this engine only puts out 180 HP.

It is concial mount and does have the forward prop governor.

Is this a viable option for engine build for the -14?

Pros/cons, suggestions in build?

seriously considering going to fuel injection. and not opposed to other tweeks and tricks not allowed on certified aircraft.

I do not think a conical engine mount is offered for the RV-14, so the case would have to be modified but is not a big deal if the engine was being overhauled anyway.

If standard it is 180 HP then it is probably not an angle valve counter weighted engine which would not be a good choice for an RV-14 because of the negative W & B effects.
