Just wrapped up a pre-purchase inspection on a 7A.
Jesse Saint, Saint Aviation, flew 400 miles to the site with 2 crewman, Niko an A&P himself and young Jake, Jesse's son, to look over the 7.
No dilly-dallying for these guys. They had this thing opened up in no time!
Boroscope inspection after the compression test, nothing like seeing cylinder walls and valves to determine condition.
We looked that aircraft over top to bottom in less than 3 hours.
They know what, and where to look at on these wonderful airplanes.
Good news is, this 7A is great as she looked, and, I'm soon to be the proud new owner.
Honestly, I had thought more than once to forgo the expense of bringing a pro, like Jesse in, but, the experience showed me, its worth it at twice the price.
Story to be continued, Jesse's going to ferry her to his shop after Sun n Fun for panel upgrades!
Can't wait to get down to FLA and pick her up for the 2,500 mile flight home!
