UPS/Apollo lens repair

The lens on the various Apollo radios are laminated from multiple layers. I've replaced them on a couple SL-30 and SL-70 radios. The replacement lens on my SL-70 is starting to delaminate again. Rather than popping for the $60 replacement this one is coming off cleanly enough that it looks like I could reglue it. Has anyone done it and what did you use? I'm leery of a liquid that would extrude out and permanently adhere the lens to the face plate. Ideas?

They make a glue used for cell phone digitizers that is thin and crystal clear. It will only take a few minutes to disassemble the radio and remove the lens for repair.
