Rudder Pedal Linkage

Are the rudder pedal linkage positions always symmetrical?

For example, the left linkage position seems to give slightly better rudder travel with equal slack on the opposite cable if I have it in a more aft position, one off from the opposite side.

Yes, mine are the same, at least to the tolerance I can detect.

I recently rigged my rudder cables and had the same question because I was prepared to cut the links different lengths. I spent too much time locking the rudder and pedals and measuring. Finally I figured if the cables are the same length and if you make all for of the little links the same length then the push on either pedal to move the rudder should be the same. So all my links are the same length.
