Swivel set

The swivel set with rubber ring will forgive a little off perfectly perpendicular. Especially useful if a rookie is driving! Also helps using the non dominate hand.

Sealed stiffeners

Drill bushing

Use some sort of drill bushing. Pieces of brass tubing inserted into each other or a true bushing.
Other option is transfer punch. Drill the punch mark small and increase incrementally.

Degauss tool

I've heard a gun type soldering iron works it have not tried it yet. Basically pass the cable through the space between the solder point loop, pull trigger and slide it along the cable slowly.

For building (riveting, drilling, etc) I use a 1/4 line long enough to cover my work area.
For painting (HVLP) I use a 3/8" line.
Maybe it doesn't matter. I've sprayed with the 1/4" with no problems.

I center punch. Then use a tiny bit like #50 to drill a hole and move up incrementally. Tiny bit is less likely to wander from a punch mark. A V-block helps but not necessary.
