I would contact Allan with that question, but you should be fine. Iím not using a VPX but both of my cowl flaps will operated via the same circuit and controlled with one toggle switch.

If all youíre looking for is a two position ON/OFF switch with a lockout to prevent you from inadvertently turning it off...basically just a key switch, the 2TL1-3F or 2TL1-3G will do the trick....
