I have mine in the stock location, no problems with tie down. It does take a bit longer to route the alum tubing to keep it clear on the pushrod/bellcrank but it's a one time job once it's shaped...

The wing wiring harness also has the wires ready for you in the right wing. Aileron trim kit is a must have for the 14 unless you always fly with 2 equal weight people and tanks perfectly balanced.
