Kroger shade

Before peeling off the tape cover, the shade rail is supposed to be contoured ( bent) to sit against the canopy flush.

On my 7a, no problem in 5 years.

Paint cost

My sign shop uses Matthews Polyurethane, another PPG product. Their Ultra Low VOC paints for their mixing stations are around $200 per gallon for white/black and up to $240 per gallon for red/blues....

Angry Primer line failure...again

I have Van's primer set up with lines going to two cylinders. For the second time and in a different place, I found the .125 copper line fractured. These lines are well supported. TT 85 hours.

They could be either. Painting them is a fairly complex process. Vinyl can be removed and changed whenever you get the urge. The process is to create a high resolution file in Illustrator or EPS...

Have a local sign shop make them. They would be cut from 3M mask (frisket) self adhesive vinyl. Apply, spray and peel off mask.

Smile D120 failure-update

As expected Stein and Dynon responded magnificently to the failure of my D120 on first power up. The unit was returned, repaired ( and upgraded to 5.3) and returned under warranty.
