Replacement is the best option for the cheap sv-5 plastic vents to stop leakage. Not at the airport as I write, so I'm not sure of the exact OD on the round sv-5. Should be close to 2".

200 hours on my 7a and the KN air filter gets crunched. I suspect from suction pulling down.

I had to replace 3 engine sensors on my AFS EFIS during my first year flying...the same erratic indications. Check sensors and grounds first.

All good comments, I've considered. My AFS EFIS 3500 has a battery backup. If I go with the D1, which Im strongly favoring, it also has an internal battery for back up.

Does Pledge have no abrasives or chemicals to damage the material? Rain-x has alcohol that Im told will damage polycarbonates. Have to be certain here.
