Excellent. Got back perfect report first time. I was using the Navworx EXP, so reused my out antenna and GPS antenna. Simple and fast. Like receiving both 1090 & 978 in.

I glue them on even though they are self adhesive. Takes more to get them off, but they stay in place. 3M Trim adhesive works well.

I had an issue with a crimp and the antenna end of the coax cable. Some just did not get a good crimp of the tiny center wire. Fixed and it solved it for a few year now anyway.

I would highly recommend the REIFF pre-heat for the 912 engine. It has an FAA approved number on it. Works very good. You need to warm the oil tank also. If not, you will be feeding in cold oil...

I already owned a H F 3/16" gun. Got a Taylor with tool kit. It was nice to have one set up for both size rivets. A cheap H F gun saves time. I have had it for maybe 20 years. Still works well.

Are you using the OEM supplied stronger throttle springs on the carbs ? Lighter duty springs may not be pulling the same and makes it harder to adjust at various ranges.

On ROTAX we can install a thermostat that works very well. Does not allow oil to go thru cooler until up to therm temp range. Uses 1/2" ID hose. Maybe that is an issue. Just noting.

Thermostassis for the oil.

Heater Damper Door for water temps ( which makes the heater work very well ).

You can do a search for these. They make the plane very comfortable in all seasons.

I had the front nose wheel 'problem' - -

I needed to add a little more toque on the front axle bolt. The wheel was spinning ( with wheel pant ). No noise, just a low freq vibration. Once the wheel stopped spinning in flight, went away.

Were the carbs re-sync'd after reinstalled ? When cold do the EGT's match fairly closely ? When warm, do they match fairly closely ? Gives you a very good idea of how well they are sync'd.

I installed the REIFF system. Think it was $220 a few years ago. I leave it plugged in all winter. If you cover the engine also, all 5 of the temp sensors are within a degree or two of each other....

You need some type of engine pre-heater. Starting a very cold 912 is a good way to ruin the sprag in the starter system. Very expensive to fix.

I built an extension for the sampler so it would reach high enough. Works well. Just pull it off and put in box beside sampler bowl.
